Weleda Skin Food

Weleda is one of my favourite brands for natural skin care, I regularly use Skin Food when winter comes and my skin is feeling more dry whether it on my hands, face or body. Made with organic sunflower seed oil, and extracts of wild pansy, chamomile, calendula, revitalising rosemary extract and delicately fragranced with refreshing essential oils including sweet orange and lavandulae it’s the natural choice for everyday care of the face and body. If you are using it as a facial day cream and feel it’s looking too shiny then try leaving it to sink into your skin for as long as possible and then before you leave home or apply your make-up blot the excess moisture off with a tissue, this will just remove the excess that’s not penetrated the skin and will gently remove any extra shine.  You can purchase Weleda Skin Food in most health food stores or on Amazon.

If you are suffering with persistant dry skin then it may be coming from your diet, low levels of essential fatty acids, certain vitamins and water may need to be increased. Skin conditions such as eczema can also be coming from the diet – either missing nutrients, food sensitivities or gut microbiome imbalances. Did you know your skin is a reflection of the health of your gut – your skin is like your gut turned inside out! The gut-skin axis is something a nutritionist can work with to rebalance your dry skin condition. I’m a registered nutritional therapist and naturopath, I can help you find the root cause to your skin issues. If you’d like to learn more about what I do and how I work then you can visit my other website www.naturopath-tina.uk or contact me here to discuss your health and skin problems.
